In Memorium

Her name was Shirley. She was my big sister...my only sister...my only sibling.  She taught me how to ride a horse.  Riding was one of our bonds when we were growing up. We shared a love of art, painting and gardening. She was a sweet, giving person and you can see it in her smile.

She passed away this week far too soon and I will miss her dearly.

  29. This is so so so sad, Susan. I have one sister. I am the oldest. And, as I get older, I have lost dear ones to diseases and accidents... and realize that death isn't fair - when it comes to those of us not all wrinkled and white. And even then, it is harsh... I am so sorry for your loss - and for all who loved your sister. And, for your sister. It is so hard to say good bye.
Big big hug to you. Tight hug.
    XO
