In Memorium


Her name was Shirley. She was my big sister...my only sister...my only sibling.  She taught me how to ride a horse.  Riding was one of our bonds when we were growing up. We shared a love of art, painting and gardening. She was a sweet, giving person and you can see it in her smile. 

She passed away this week far too soon and I will miss her dearly.

    Susan, I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of your sister. I have two sisters and cannot imagine life without them.
    They are the loved ones that I've known all my life. From what you say about your sister, you have precious memories that will be with you always. Enjoy them!

    This is so so so sad, Susan. I have one sister. I am the oldest. And, as I get older, I have lost dear ones to diseases and accidents... and realize that death isn't fair - when it comes to those of us not all wrinkled and white. And even then, it is harsh... I am so sorry for your loss - and for all who loved your sister. And, for your sister. It is so hard to say good bye.
