One day, Chicken Little was walking through the woods somewhere in Wisconsin , when an acorn fell on her head. “The sky is falling!” Chicken Little called out.
She gathered her friends into a wagon and they all decide to travel to the castle and tell the king.
On their journey, they met Ducky Daddles who asked them where they were going.
They all tell her that the sky is falling and they are off to tell the king. “Are you sure?” she asks. “Yes!” they all agreed. So Ducky Daddles joined them on their journey and off they go to the castle to warn the king.
Soon, they come upon Honey and Sunny Bunny who ask where they are going.
They explain about the sky falling and that they must hurry to tell the king. “Are you sure?” ask Honey and Sunny. “Yes!” they all reply So Honey and Sunny Bunny join them on their journey.
In no time at all, they come upon Henry and Henrietta Hare who ask them where they are going.
The sky is falling and we have to tell the king! “Are you sure?” they ask? “Yes!” they all reply. So Henry and Henrietta Hare join them on their journey to the castle.
Finally, they meet Foxy Loxy on the trail. Sly, Foxy Loxy offers to guide them to the king.
But instead, he tricks them and takes them to his den where he prepares to eat them all!
The End and Happy Easter!

ReplyDeleteThat is adorable Susan!
ReplyDeleteYou should be doing children's books, Susan! This is just delightful & I can't wait to show & read it to Caroline. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the fox are very dramatic. They are beautiful creatures.
I hear we have a couple of coyotes in our development, near one of the lakes. They are warning neighbors to steer clear & not approach, as its mating season. I don't think I own a lens strong enough to capture their photo while keeping me at a safe distance.
Enjoy your Easter!
fondly,
Rett
