Garden Portraits

It's Outdoor Wedneday so put on your garden shoes and join me for a brief walk in my garden!

Garden walks are getting much more enjoyable these days and I'm finding new things emerging from the ground or new flowers open every few days. Even some of the outoor critters have returned. This bumble bee was very busy in the pulmonaria flowers. Don't you wonder how those fragle wings can hold up that body?

I hope you enjoyed getting 'up close' in my garden! If you enjoy outdoor pictures, please visit Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for more Outdoor Wednesday photos! Thanks again, Susan!

  4. What a beautiful set of garden portraits. You have so much beauty blooming right now and the bumblebee's colors really stand out against the pulmonaria flowers. I tried growing that but it didn't like my clay soils - it is a spring beauty.

Love the rest of the flowers as well especially the peach centered daffodil. Beauty surrounds you and I am thankful to share it with us on Outdoor Wednesdays.

  5. Beautiful post, Susan .... The flowers are so pretty and delicate looking even with the hefty bee on it.

My favorite is the second photo ... I love seeing the veins on the petals of the flower, although I have no idea what it is.
